Finally … here is the full two years of study of breadfruit yield in Jamaica. With a little help from AI, we can update the findings of the first year of study. Peak bearing season is May through August, with June as the highest month in both years. We can confirm that organic fertilizer dramatically increases yield–more than double the average. We also found that yield for an individual tree can vary widely from year to year, either decreasing or increasing. Overall the second-year yield was lower than the first, which brings the average for all 50 trees down to 115 from 154.
