Honduras

We are happy to continue to partner with Support Roatan. See our blog post Partner Spotlight: Support Roatan for more details. Also click Support Roatan for information about that organization!

Roatan is a small island 40 miles off the northern coast of Honduras. Together, we plant breadfruit trees and distribute the Spanish-English version of our educational activity book, Plant A Tree And Good Things Happen.

Children in Roatan are being educated in the classroom about the importance of food bearing trees. As a practical lesson they plant trees in their schoolyard. The best way to learn is by doing! They also receive one tree to plant at home, to benefit the whole family.
